| Arriving
by plane you can go on by train or by car. By train: Just take the S8-subwaytrain,
right under the airport
of Munich. Leave it at the terminal Pasing and change for the regionalexpress-train
towards Mittenwald / Innsbruck. Leave the train at the trainstation
Murnau and change for your further journey to the Regionalbahn to Oberammergau.
(duration of time: approx. 160min) By car: Head towards autobahn München-Deggendorf A92 - direction town centre of munich, than go on by following Mittlerer Ring (kind of by-pass through munich) direction A95 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. At the end of the autobahn go on until you arrive in Oberau, turn right towards B23 (federal road) towards Augsburg and Oberammergau. Take the B23 until you arrive in Oberammergau. | Airport
Innsbruck: After your arrival at the airport Innsbruck in Austria, you
can go on by car or train to reach Oberammergau. You are heading for
the Austrian boarder - passing Scharnitz, than Garmisch and last but
not least Oberau. For more information please click on the columns "with
the car when you come from Innsbruck" or "with the train when you come

| Take
the A 95 (A means autobahn) towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. At the end
of the autobahn proceed to Oberau, where you turn right to Oberammergau
(distance: 88 kilometers, duration of time: approx. 65 min.). When in

| Take
the B17 (B stands for federal road) towards Füssen/ Garmisch-Partenkirchen;
near Peiting proceed on to the B23 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen until
Oberammergau (distance: 97 kilometers; duration of time: approx. 100
min.). When in Oberammergau, see map below: |

Take the A12 (A means autobahn) towards Zürich; Take than exit Zirl Ost N177 direction Mittenwald/Scharnitz. After you cross the boarder head for direction Garmisch/München B2 (federal road) and turn left in Oberau towards Augsburg and Oberammergau. Take the B23 until you arrive in Oberammergau. the A7 towards Füssen, at Oy-Mittelberg change to B309, at Weißbach
turn left to B310 towards Füssen, after Füssen turn left to the B17
in direction of Augsburg, in Steingaden turn right towards Oberammergau,
coming to the bridge "Echelsbacher Brücke" turn right to the B23 towards
Oberammergau (distance: 88 kilometers, duration of time: approx. 90

| Every
hour with regional express in the direction of Mittenwald and Innsbruck
to Murnau, where the connecting regional train leaves to Oberammergau.
Duration of ride: 1 hour 47 minutes. (Deutsche

hour from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm (otherwise every two hours) by regional
express in the direction of Munich to Murnau, where the connecting regional
train leaves to Oberammergau. Duration of ride: about 2 hours 50 minutes.

regional express in the direction of Weilheim, there you have connection
to the regional express to Mittenwald/Innsbruck with stop in Murnau.
Change there to the connecting train to Oberammergau. Duration of ride:
